This was a really thoughtful article for a problem almost all artists face. I wish more musicians wrote on these issues too, it seems to be writers and visual artists all the time.

And if Monica Byrne is right about one thing, it’s that “art is culture”. In the face of so much art funding cut in Melbourne, Australia I really wish that council’s, the government and those who run our countries would keep this in mind.
